Light barriers

In cases where the situation requires further safety measurements we can offer additional Light Barriers.

The Light Barriers consist of 2 facing infrared sensor arrays. Any object disrupting the clear view of the sensor bars will cause the machine to stop operation instantly. In the picture above, the light sensors are clearly shown at the front of the machine. An exact same set will be mounted at the back of the machine.
The Light Barriers provide a machine protection only. A human protection makes it necessary to place Light Barriers around the machine preventing anybody to reach the machine within 500 mm.
